Todd began his racing career in Go Karts. In 2002 he moved up to the T&L class at the Florence Motor Speedway, where he won his first race. He was able to win quite a few more race at FMS.

The 2007 season brings about a changes in Todd Amerson Racing. A new modified body style is now on the car. The team will also now be racing at a brand new track, Dillon Motor Speedway.
